Excellence in Montessori education
All our teachers are fully certified Montessori educators with specialized training in early childhood development. They undergo continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in Montessori education.
We create warm, welcoming spaces where children feel safe, valued, and loved. Our classrooms are designed to be calm, beautiful, and inviting, fostering a sense of peace and concentration.
Every child is recognized as a unique individual with their own interests, strengths, and developmental timeline. We tailor our approach to meet each child where they are and support their individual growth.
We build strong partnerships with families and create a supportive community where parents, teachers, and children work together. Regular communication and parent education workshops keep families engaged.
At ABC Montessori Center, we are deeply committed to authentic Montessori education. We don't just use the name - we live the philosophy every day. Our classrooms are equipped with complete sets of genuine Montessori materials, carefully curated to support children's development across all areas of learning.
We follow the Montessori scope and sequence rigorously, presenting materials in the order designed by Dr. Montessori based on developmental readiness. Our teachers maintain detailed observation records for each child, allowing them to individualize presentations and support each child's unique learning journey.
While our children excel academically, we focus equally on social-emotional development, character formation, and practical life skills. Children learn grace and courtesy, conflict resolution, empathy, and how to be contributing members of a community. These life skills are just as important as academic knowledge and will serve them throughout their lives.
We maintain low student-to-teacher ratios to ensure every child receives individualized attention and support. Our small class sizes allow teachers to truly know each child - their interests, challenges, strengths, and developmental needs.
4 infants per teacher, ensuring responsive care and strong attachment
6 toddlers per teacher, supporting independence and language development
12 children per teacher, fostering community and peer learning
Teachers can tailor lessons to each child's readiness and interests
Deep bonds form between teachers, children, and families
Teachers can closely monitor progress and developmental needs
Smaller groups create calm, focused learning spaces
We believe that the environment is the "third teacher" in Montessori education. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to be beautiful, orderly, and inviting. Natural light floods the spaces, plants bring life and responsibility, and carefully selected materials are displayed on accessible wooden shelves.
Every detail matters - from the child-sized furniture that promotes independence to the soft rugs that define work spaces, from the living plants children care for to the art that decorates the walls. Our environments are designed to inspire wonder, invite exploration, and foster a deep connection with learning.
While beauty is important, safety is paramount. Our facilities meet or exceed all state licensing requirements for early childhood education. We maintain rigorous cleaning protocols, with materials sanitized daily and deep cleaning performed regularly. All areas are childproofed, and we conduct regular safety inspections.
Our outdoor environments are extensions of the classroom, featuring age-appropriate play structures, gardens where children plant and harvest vegetables, and natural materials for exploration. Children have daily outdoor time to develop gross motor skills, connect with nature, and experience the joy of physical activity.
"We love Ella's Classroom! We were uneasy at first about bringing our 11-month-old here and thought it might not go over well being away from home and Momma. But, he fell in love at the first visit and his fondness of 'school' has only grown with time. He's an only tiny, so having a safe space where he can experience a group dynamic below, at, and above his age is priceless. He's also exposed to a Montessori style classroom and Spanish language, which is so enriching for his development!"
"Our daughter has been enrolled in Ella's Classroom for a year and a half, since she was 6 months old, and all of the staff, caregivers and teachers have been wonderful to us. She's progressed so much in her language use and skill development, as well as her socialization, which was most important to us. We enjoy the bilingual immersion program and the support that the daycare offers to parents."
"Ella's Classroom is the absolute best! They care so deeply for our son and our family. They are experts in the Montessori method and provide a safe and engaging environment for the kids. They're very communicative throughout the day with updates via app and even provide fresh cooked meals throughout the day. So grateful to Ella and Chris for running such an amazing program!"
